Regional workshop on "How to enhance the use of bioenergy in the Balkans" was held on November 24th and 25th 2015 in the Radisson Blue Hotel in Belgrade, organized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment of the Republic of Serbia and the German Agency for International Cooperation GIZ and DKTI project - Development of sustainable bioenergy market in Serbia.

The objective of the regional workshop was to allow regional political actors and experts to identify regional priorities for the use of bioenergy in the Balkans, discuss common challenges and necessary activities and / or measures to improve the framework conditions for the use of bioenergy in the region. The workshop brought together representatives of state administration, local governments, and private sector, interested in developing the bioenergy market in Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and Croatia.

Under the auspices of the Export Initiative of the German Federal Ministry of Economy and Energy, the company Ecleron in cooperation with the Delegation of German Economy in Serbia organized an informative event "Bioenergy in Serbia" on November 10th in the geno-Haus in Stuttgart.
The conference offered a broad, thematic review of the potential of bioenergy in Serbia with an overview of the energy, economic and political situation in Serbia, as well as specific investment opportunities of German companies with practical advice on entering the market.
